Out of the Blue captures an eastern bluebird emerging in a brilliant flash of color among an otherwise warm and tangled garden. Unexpected and impossible to overlook, it becomes one of those small moments that interrupts an ordinary day and makes you stop.
Apparently, joy isn't always very good at making an appointment.
We spend so much time planning, searching, and waiting for the things we think will make life better. But some of its best moments arrive completely unplanned—a beautiful surprise, an unexpected laugh, a flash of blue where you weren't looking for one.
Sometimes joy simply shows up out of the blue.

These prints are made to last - museum-quality cold press paper, archival inks, and colors that stay bold and true, made to carry the magic for a lifetime (and then some).

Size Guide
Each print includes a 1-inch white border within the total paper size. Think of it as breathing room for the art, a frame before the frame. For example, a 12x16" print arrives with the artwork itself at 10x14". Simple, clear, and giving your art the spotlight it deserves.

Oil paintings take time to cure, so please allow 2-4 weeks for processing and shipping. (Good art doesn’t rush, and neither should shipping. ✨) If more time is ever needed, I’ll let you know right away with an updated timeline.
Shipping is free on original canvas artworks over $300 within the contiguous U.S. (48 states). Because if you’re collecting originals, shipping shouldn’t be the thing that holds you back.
For orders that don’t qualify for free shipping - including collectors in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or outside the U.S. - shipping is calculated at checkout with UPS live rates. To help offset the cost, I apply a $40 shipping credit automatically toward every order.
For oversized works (48"x60" and larger), standard carriers can’t handle them - I’ll provide a custom freight quote to ensure they travel safely. Just reach out through the Contact Page, and we’ll create a plan that gets your artwork to you no matter where in the world you are.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes! I love sending my work to collectors across the globe. 🌍 Most paintings can be purchased directly through checkout - shipping costs are calculated automatically based on your location.
For oversized pieces (like 48×60 and larger), standard carriers can’t handle them, so I’ll provide a custom freight quote. If you’re outside the U.S. and interested in a large work, just send me a message — I’ll reserve the piece for 48 hours, gather a quote, and create a checkout link.
Shipping costs are calculated by location, and import duties/taxes are the collector’s responsibility. (Good news: art makes it through customs better than most of us do.)
A note on on colors
Please note that while every effort is made to display my artwork as accurately as possible, the colors you see may vary slightly from the original painting due to differences in monitor settings, lighting, and screen displays. I aim to capture the true essence of each piece, but variations in brightness, contrast, and color tones may occur.
